About The Clinic Director

thumb Sjoukje

Sjoukje Remark, RMT/Clinic Director/Owner

Welcome! I started Continuum Wellness over 9 years ago with little more than a massage table, my loyal clients, and a lightly-furnished office. I envisioned a clinic with a positive work environment for other passionate therapists and one that combined the warmth of home, the little extras of a spa, yet the healing and therapeutic approach of a traditional wellness clinic. Over the years I have been blessed to have seen the clinic grow and to have a team of talented therapists work along side me to help clients achieve the best in health and wellness. I love this community and am excited for many more years ahead.

Clinic Location
Call us at 416-913-3080

Continuum Wellness is located in the heart of Yonge Lawrence Village, about 7 blocks north of Lawrence Ave. We are on the corner of Melrose and Yonge on the third floor above the Rexall Pharmacy with our entrance facing Melrose Ave. The clinic can be accessed by stairs or elevator. Please note that the elevator is a hydraulic lift that takes 15-20 seconds per floor.

TORONTO STAR: Continuum Wellness is located in the Best "Hood in Toronto! Yonge-Lawrence Village earned the top spot in the city's ranking of neighborhoods. We couldn't agree more! There is such a great sense of community, it's like a little village within a city. And our patients are the best!

Clinic Policies
Cancellation Policy
  • We have a 24 hour cancellation policy.  If you are unable to provide this notice, you will be charged in full for the missed appointment. This cancellation policy is necessary for our small business to continue to serve our clients who are in need of treatment, and also to make massage therapy a feasible career for our therapists as they don't get paid hourly or salary, but by appointment.  The 24 hours notice gives the therapist time to fill the slot with another client. If you arrive late for your appointment, we will try our best to accommodate your full booking. However, if that’s not available, you will be billed for the full cost of the original booking. If you have an emergency, please let us know so that we can treat your specific situation with personal attention.  We do not consider schedule conflicts to be emergencies. Thank you for understanding and respecting our time :-)

Payment Methods
  • Kindly consider supporting your local small businesses by paying with Debit or Cash as it helps reduce overhead costs. READ MORE on CBCNews
  • For your convenience we also accept Visa and MC.

Tipping Policy
  • Tipping is not expected or necessary. Our RMTs are passionate about what they do and are committed to your health. Your return visits to the clinic are the best tip and referrals of a friend, family member or co-worker are greatly appreciated!

"Gratitude can transform common days onto thanksgiving, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings." William Arthur Ward

This April marks the seven year anniversary since our first Open House. To show our gratitude to the community, who has suposrted us, and to our loyal clients, we are celebrating with seven days of gratitude.  Each day between April 19th and April 25th, we will transform a common day into thanksgiving by offering free classes and workshops, discounted services, and lots of free giveaways and surprises.

Havergal College Fundraiser 2013, 2014 & 2015
  • We were honored to have been asked to be part of this exciting event! The weather was perfect and the turnout was amazing, about 800-1000 people. Kelly and Petya represented our team of RMTs by giving out free massage treatments to help raise money for Havergal college.

Yonge Lawrence Village Day 2013, 2014, 2015
  • Another sucessful Village Day! The rain held off and the sun even came out for a bit. We always love being part of this event. Great to say hi to friendly clients and faces we know and recognize and wonderful to meet and connect with new people.

Movember 2012
  • It’s Movember and we at Continuum are trying to help change the face of men’s health.
  • Movember raises money to help support prostate cancer and male mental health initiatives. Dr. Adam Taksa has joined a team and is growing a moustache to help support this cause. We would appreciate your help as any and all donations this month will go towards supporting these worthy charities.
  • In addition, a portion of all Chiropractic treatments in the month of November will go towards this fantastic cause.

SMILE 2010 Music Festival
  • We are excited to be the one of the official sponsors of the SMILE Music Festival at the Opera House on Saturday June 5, 2010. This event has been organized by East Metro Youth Services (EMYS) to generate awareness about mental health and to help raise money for children's mental health programs.
  • EMYS is a multi-service adolescence health center accredited by Children's Mental Health Ontario and has been serving youth and their families in east Toronto since 1974.
  • To learn more about EMYS please visit www.emys.on.ca

  • On Saturday March 7, 2009 we had the opportunity to hold a Silent Auction during our Open House on behalf of the Foundation for Integrated Medicine in Africa (FIMAFRICA).  FIMAFRICA is a registered Canadian charitable organization geared towards delivering integrated medicine to rural communities in Africa.
  • We are so thankful to everyone that came out, your generosity and support made the silent auction a huge success.  We had over 90 clients, friends and family attend the event and raised over $3000!
